Noted historian Dr. Leland Bellot will place the great gardens and houses of England in historical contexts, and also bring to life their creators – from Bess of Hardwick, who outlived four husbands to become the richest woman in Elizabethan England, to Winston Churchill, born in Blenheim Palace, who created his own unique niche in the English countryside at Chartwell.
